SHEILA POSNER’S work is vibrant and expressive. She employs a variety of media. Each aspires to be a cohesive whole, which is both stimulating and contemplative.

Sheila studied Art & Fashion at Walthamstow Art School, London. She, then, designed & made clothes in The Bahamas and Sydney. After training as a high school art teacher, (B. Ed (Hons) taught high school art for many years in Western Australia. Then started exhibiting and selling her work in 1999. From 2004-8  ran Stuart Street Gallery, Perth, with husband, Melvyn where they curated works of other artists and exhibited Sheila's work.

 Since arriving in Sydney in 2008 she has been showing her work at Mesh Gallery, Woollahra and at various exhibitions. From 2011 until present has been an art instructor on Cunard & Azamara cruise ships and The  Art Gallery  of NSW.

Work held in many collections in Australia, USA and UK.
